Natural stone pieces taken from their source, prepared and carefully laid onto master mould boxes and then covered with a tough rubber solution. When demoulded these moulds (usually about a half a square metre in size) are then used to replicate the stone with a blend of pumice, aggregate, sand, oxide and Portland cement. Many different moulds are made ensuring no repetition in the finished product. So natural is the final look that most observers naturally believe it is real stone. Alpine Stone is manufactured using only New Zealand sourced Stone and contains nothing imported from China or other Asian countries.
